I don't know how she does it, but after more labs yesterday, she is still holding steady at a PELD score of 19.
I'm amazed that her numbers look so stable with such a sick liver.
And, as always, I am so grateful that Dru is so quick to forgive me for holding her still every time she gets poked. I never get used to it :(
I am so sorry!! The first time they tried drawing Penelope's blood, at that time I nursed her. So after a cold lady tried and a big burly old lady tried, both were unsuccessful.....I sat there in the office tears falling down my face and I nursed her. Now I am a pro. A bit tougher, stronger and more resilient. Our sweet girls. So sweet because they are made of pure sugar.
